We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Serena Hu, the J. Leonard Goldner, MD Visiting Professor, to share her pioneering insights in orthopaedic spine care. Dr. Hu is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic spine surgeon and a leader in the field. She serves as Professor and Vice Chair of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and (by courtesy) Neurosurgery, as well as Chief of the Division of Spine Surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine. With extensive experience in treating a wide range of spinal conditions and injuries, Dr. Hu specializes in scoliosis (spinal curvature), kyphosis (excessive forward spinal bending), lumbar spine fractures, spondylolisthesis (vertebral displacement), disc degeneration, and spinal stenosis (narrowing of the spinal canal). Drawing on her expertise, Dr. Hu develops personalized care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Dr. Hu will lead a session titled "The Spine Bone is Connected to the Hip Bone-The Importance of Sagittal Balance in Spine Management." This must-attend discussion is for anyone interested in the future of orthopaedic surgery and spine care. After the session, join us for coffee and conversation to connect with colleagues and share key takeaways. We look forward to seeing you there!
