SOM Academic New Faculty Orientation: Working with Trainees

Starting a new faculty appointment is an exciting and challenging opportunity, and whether you joined Duke this month or last year, the School of Medicine Office for Faculty wants to make sure you have the tools and support to hit the ground running and to navigate your career here. This session will provide an overview of graduate offices at Duke, discuss where to get students and postdocs, outline the School of Medicine support model for graduate students, consider faculty's role as advisor and mentor, and introduce the T3 tool. This seminar will be most relevant for faculty in the basic sciences.
