SOM Academic New Faculty Orientation: Supporting a climate of professionalism in the Basic Sciences

Starting a new faculty appointment is an exciting and challenging opportunity, and whether you joined Duke this month or last year, the School of Medicine Office for Faculty wants to make sure you have the tools and support to hit the ground running and to navigate your career here. This is part of the School of Medicine Academic New Faculty Orientation seminar series. This session will communicate the school's expectations for faculty professionalism, review reporting requirements and pathway, and share available resources to support faculty who have concerns about professionalism. Participants will examine basic science-focused case studies. This seminar will be most relevant for faculty in the basic sciences.
