SOM Academic New Faculty Orientation: Getting Promoted in the Clinical Sciences at Duke

Starting a new faculty appointment is an exciting and challenging opportunity, and whether you joined Duke this month or last year, the School of Medicine Office for Faculty wants to make sure you have the tools and support to hit the ground running and to navigate your career here. This session describes the process and pathways for promotion in the clinical sciences, how to build and communicate your public profile, and features a Q&A panel discussion to address current and upcoming APT processes from a variety of perspectives. This seminar will be most relevant for faculty in the clinical sciences or basic science faculty in a clinical department.
