Kick off the year with the Duke Office of Scientific Integrity's Research Town Hall "Fostering Resilience in Research: How Responsible Research Adapts to Unpredictable Problems" on January 13th from 12:00 - 1:30pm. Researchers often face unexpected and complex challenges. Our expert panel of speakers will share practical strategies for persevering through uncertainty while maintaining professional integrity and building resilience-both individually and within teams. We'll also explore how uncertainty can lead to new opportunities and innovative research directions. Our distinguished speakers include leaders and researchers from across Duke University. Duke Blue Devil's Coach Kara Lawson will share insights on building resilience in the face of uncertainty. Dr. Mara Becker, Dr. Thomas Denny, Dr. Jessie Tenenbaum, and Dr. Christoph Hornik will offer resources, strategies, and personal perspectives on navigating uncertainty in the research environment. Attending this event fulfills the RCR-200 requirement for Faculty and Staff and the 714 RCR credit for graduate students. Participants must attend for at least 60 minutes to receive credit.
