A symposium to celebrate and honor a founder of modern Biomedical Informatics on his 90th birthday. This Duke Centennial event will celebrate Dr. Hammond's remarkable contributions to biomedical informatics while exploring the past, present, and future of healthcare. This educational symposium will feature distinguished speakers who will share their insights on these critical topics along with recognizing Ed's unprecedented career, outstanding achievements and significant contributions. We are honored to announce, President Vincent Price will deliver Opening Remarks on January 9th with Dean Mary E. Klotman giving Closing Remarks on January 10th. We are hosting poster sessions that provide an excellent opportunity for trainees to present their research and showcase their work. If you or your trainees are interested in presenting, please submit your posters through the symposium website.
