Dr. George W. Russell, MD, MBA
We are excited to welcome Dr. George V. Russell, Trauma Visiting Professor, to share his groundbreaking insights in orthopaedic trauma. Dr. Russell is the newly appointed Chief of Orthopaedic Trauma at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and Associate Chief of UPMC's Orthopaedic Service Line. Dr. Russell is one of the nation's foremost authorities in his field, and his impressive career includes serving as the Associate Chief of Surgical Quality and Executive Vice Chair at Pitt's Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Russell, a pioneer of the clamshell osteotomy procedure, will lead a session on 'Disruptive Innovation'-a must-attend discussion for anyone interested in the future of orthopaedic surgery and trauma care.
