The Duke Clinical Research Institute is excited to welcome Dr. Carolyn S.P. Lam, Professor of Cardiology at the Duke-National University of Singapore and Senior Consultant Cardiologist at National Heart Centre Singapore, to our Research Forum series on Oct. 24. Dr. Lam's presentation, "AI in Echocardiography: Applications to Improve Outcomes," will address the urgent, unmet needs for cardiac screening in primary care and general community settings, and how artificial intelligence in echocardiography can facilitate cardiac screening via task-shifting and empowering non-experts.
