While health care workers have mobilized to take care of patients during this pandemic, Duke University School of Medicine researchers have come together to conduct cutting-edge science, including research to better understand the pathophysiology, fundamental mechanisms and clinical consequences of COVID-19, development of new vaccines and testing methods, and research addressing social issues and health disparities related to COVID-19. The School of Medicine is hosting a monthly virtual COVID-19 Research Seminar Series to highlight this important research. Each seminar will have a basic science and clinical speaker, and all faculty, trainees, students and staff are welcome to attend this series.
This seminar series occurs on the third Tuesday of month, from 4:00-5:00 pm, with some exceptions for holidays and institutional events.
