This workshop, intended for junior faculty, residents/fellows or postdocs, covers several "nuts and bolts" issues associated with career development awards (e.g., the NIH K award series, NSF CAREER, society/foundation awards). The session includes topics such as key considerations for mentors, scientific overlap with mentor research, applicant eligibility, effort requirements, and tools and resources. Pre-session materials will be sent to registrants in advance of the workshop.
