About Duke Tuesday In 1978, Dr. James F. Glenn, Chief of Urology, presented and moderated the first Duke Tuesday in Urology conference. For over 40 years attendees have been engaged through moderated lectures, supplemented with video surgical presentations, interactive panel discussions, and case discussions presented by Duke faculty and nationally recognized guest lecturers, making it one of the most respected and recognized conferences of its kind. Following this tradition, on July 20, the inaugural David F. Paulson, MD Lectureship; the third Chief of Urology, 1981- 2003; will be presented by J. Brantley Thrasher, MD, FACS, Executive Director, American Board of Urology and a former Paulson Fellow. Dr. Thrasher will present the potential uses of Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and Augmented Reality in the clinical application and assessment for urologists. Dr. Deborah Kaye will present the Financial Toxicity in Cancer Care: Understanding the issue, its impact and steps to improve patient outcomes and Dr. Daniel George will present The Changing Treatment Landscape for mCRPC. The program will conclude with a Complex Prostate Cancer Tumor Board. In support of improving patient care, the Duke University Health System Department of Clinical Education and Professional Development is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the health care team.
