Tuition

Degree Candidates

The tuition rates for all courses needed to complete the degree program total $63,000. Students are billed each semester for the courses in which they are enrolled. Once a student is admitted to the degree program, a non-refundable tuition deposit of $500 is required within 10 days of admission to reserve a place in the program. This deposit amount is applied to the first tuition payment.

Non-Degree Students

The tuition cost for courses for non-degree students is $1,500 per credit hour. There is also a one-time $100 transcript generation fee charged by the Registrar’s Office.

Tuition Assistance

Some students fund their own education, and others are sponsored entirely or in part by their employer. For those who are self-funded, Duke School of Medicine Office of Financial Aid offers resources regarding loans and scholarships. We encourage applicants to contact the Office of Financial Aid as soon as possible to begin that process. Some Duke employees may qualify for the Duke Employee Tuition Assistance Program. Duke employees planning to use the Tuition Assistance Program should contact Duke Human Resources before applying to the program and registering for courses.
