Congratulations to Denise M. Nepveux, PhD, associate professor in orthopaedic surgery, on completing the Duke Academy for Health Professions Education and Academic Development (AHEAD) certificate program.

Dr. Nepveux’s project explores how climate change and sustainability have been represented in the occupational therapy-related literature. She could map where the primary publications on this topic have been published and show publications on this topic over time.

She is pictured above with fellow AHEAD graduate and Duke Ortho colleague Gary E. Johnson, DPT.

The AHEAD program's mission is to promote excellence in the education of health professionals by creating a community of education scholars, fostering innovation in health professions education, supporting outstanding teachers, providing faculty development programs, and facilitating quality education research.
