Katherine D. Myers, PT, DPT, PhD candidate (pictured on left), received a 2024 Adopt-A-Doc award. The award recognized her dedication to the profession of physical therapy and the education of physical therapists and physical therapist assistants.
The APTA Academy of Education Adopt-A-Doc program seeks to increase the number of doctorally prepared PTs and PTAs by providing financial support to Academy members who are in the dissertation phase of their post-professional doctoral programs. The award presentation will be made at the annual Combined Sections Meeting (CSM).
