Class of 2024 OTD student Karol Guerrero recently shared an update on her current fieldwork assignment at Colorado State University.
What kind of work are you doing?
I have been working with the Center for Community Partnerships and Colorado State University. These past six weeks have been full of excellent career development opportunities. Last month, I was honored to attend a private screening of the Colorado State University-produced documentary An Open Door, highlighting Dr. Temple Grandin's work at CSU and as a national autism advocate.
What other professional opportunities have you had? I also had the opportunity to speak at the Occupational Therapy Association of Colorado Annual Conference.
I shared information about my Capstone project and networked with various OTs across Colorado. Many OTs and scholars were interested in learning more about the culture at Duke and my research.
