On Wednesday, Feb. 7, from 1-3 p.m. in the TBL classroom, join us as we make “Feelie Hearts” for our community partner, the Duke Outpatient Clinic.
Chaplain Katherine Henderson will share stories of giving these little symbols of care (“comfort you can carry”) to patients and family members during times of crisis and joy.
We need many hands to make light work of tracing, cutting, turning, stuffing, and stitching fabric hearts (pick a task to match your skills). Everyone is welcome! Materials, snacks, and companionship provided.
