Applications are coming soon for the Hedwig van Ameringen Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine® (ELAM®) program. ELAM is a year-long part-time fellowship for faculty in schools of medicine, dentistry, public health and pharmacy. The program is dedicated to developing the professional and personal skills required to lead and manage in today's complex health care environment. More than 1,600 ELAM alumni hold leadership positions in institutions around the world.
Duke can nominate 1-2 individuals, and there will be an internal selection process to identify the Duke applicant(s).
- Applicants must have held the rank of associate professor for at least two years, and have administrative experience in personnel and budget management.
- All qualified applicants will be considered.
Those who think they might be interested should review the attached flyer and the ELAM website, and begin discussing a potential application with their chair/unit leader. Stay tuned for an e-mail in August about the internal selection process!
