As a condition of admission to the Duke Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program, all matriculating students must hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university.
Applicants are responsible for verifying that their degree‑granting institution is accredited by one of the following recognized accrediting agencies:
- Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE)
- Higher Learning Commission (HLC)
- New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC)
- New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE)
- Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU)
- Southern Association of Schools and Colleges (SACS)
- Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC)
- Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada (ATS)
