Jooyoung coordinates all incoming travel arrangements for visitors from Duke-NUS Medical School and SingHealth to Duke, providing on-site support during visits and events.
She joined the Office of Duke-NUS Affairs in 2025. Previously, she worked at Duke University’s Sanford School of Public Policy, where she provided various academic services for international students. With over 20 years of experience supporting students and faculty, she is passionate about planning, organizing, and implementing activities.
Jooyoung holds an MS in Human Resource Development from Indiana State University. Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, she speaks Korean and fluent Japanese. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the Duke Forest, working out early in the morning, and aspires to walk the Camino de Santiago in the near future.
