Andy Rose, MBA, is the associate dean of finance for the Duke University School of Medicine. He is responsible for financial management and budgeting, financial reporting and analysis, accounting operations, long-range financial planning, institutional research analysis, and data analytics related to space utilization and research productivity. He also serves as the primary interface for the School of Medicine with University Finance, Duke University Health System (DUHS), and Duke Health Integrated Practice (DHIP) for budget, finance, and accounting and compliance issues and processes.

Before coming to Duke, Andy served as the chief financial officer and senior director of finance and administration at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College. Prior to his tenure at Dartmouth, Andy held positions with the Academic Healthcare Practice at ECG Management Consultants, Inc., PwC, and Boston Children's Hospital, where he gained valuable experience in financial analysis, revenue cycle assessments, and clinical support operations. 

Andy holds a Master of Business Administration from Boston University Questrom School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Health Management and Policy from the University of New Hampshire.
