Ana Sanchez serves as Associate Dean, Performance Improvement and Project Management in the Duke School of Medicine. Dr. Sanchez has experience in both academia and biotech across a variety of leadership roles spanning drug development, program management, and grant/contract management. Prior to returning to Duke, she worked at the RTP start-up, Locus Biosciences, for six years helping to advance phage-based therapeutics. She previously worked at the Duke Human Vaccine Institute and the Duke Office of Scientific Integrity. She received her PhD in Immunology from Duke.
