Registration open: Gopen Writing Seminar and Write Winning Grants Seminars

Registration is now open for a series of seminars to be held this summer in support of scholarly writing and grantwriting for Duke faculty, trainees, and staff.  

The 2023 ADVANCE-UP cohort met yesterday for their first session with Dr. Judith Holder, Being an URM in an Academic Environment.  During this session the scholars focused on sharing, connecting, and developing a greater sense of community as a cohort.

BMIM: Moving Forward Together

The ADVANCE-UP 2023 Program Kick-Off took place today. The 2023 scholars met one another, program leadership, staff and alumni to discuss the upcoming year.

Program Director Kevin Thomas, MD, Vice Dean for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion welcomed the group and shared the history of the program.
