From Hendersonville, NC, Cami graduated with a major in Exercise Science and Gerontology from Appalachian State University. Her interest in OT came after working with adults with disabilities at summer camp and interning in a skilled nursing facility. OT was the perfect combination of recreation, health, and holistic value that Cami had been searching for. Cami decided to attend Duke for her doctorate because of the diversity and focus on emerging practice.
