Duke’s Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) program is in the top 10 percent of occupational therapy programs in the U.S., according to the 2024 U.S. News and World Report (USNWR) ranking released this week.

Rankings are based on peer assessment surveys collected from faculty and administrative leadership at accredited institutions between the fall of 2023 and early 2024. A ranking in the top 10 percent means that peers respect the curriculum, faculty, administration, and the reputation of the Duke and the program itself.

“Given that we haven’t yet graduated our first class, this is a strong initial ranking, said Barbara Hooper, PhD, OTR/L, FAOTA, division chief and founding program director. “Thanks to all who are making Duke OTD a leading program!”
