The Sponsored Projects System app provides the management of sponsored projects for the Duke Medical Center and Campus community. Users of SPS are able to create grant proposals, transmit proposals through the approval process, produce government sponsor paper forms, and track general award information.
SPS provides standardized proposal information for all sponsors, enforcement of sponsor business rules, decision-support grant reporting across the institution, and electronic routing for review and approval at both the departmental and central office levels.
The Grants.duke web app provides the Duke Medical Center and Campus community with the ability to submit grant proposals electronically to federal sponsors. The Sponsored Projects System (SPS) grant proposal populates the Grants.duke system to allow users to attach supporting documents to the grant proposal, then release the proposal for submission. Grants.duke electronically transmits the proposal to Grants.gov, then on to the federal sponsor.
