The Office of Biomedical Graduate Education (OBGE) unites the individual biomedical PhD programs in the Duke University School of Medicine. We believe scientific discovery and innovation is enhanced by an inclusive community of people representing a rich diversity of backgrounds, identities, beliefs, and ideas. OBGE's mission is to provide support, resources, and training that enrich the Duke School of Medicine PhD experience, graduate curriculum, and professional development environment, empowering Duke students to develop their full potential as independent scientists poised to pursue diverse careers.
