The internal application process is now open for the EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP in ACADEMIC MEDICINE (ELAM) program. Women faculty who are at the rank of associate professor or higher are eligible to apply. Both MD and PhD faculty are eligible to apply. This is an excellent, well-established 1-year fellowship that prepares senior faculty to take on leadership roles in academic medicine, dentistry and public health. Participation in the program takes significant personal and institutional commitment, which must be demonstrated during the application process. Potential applicants are encouraged to discuss the program with their Chair, and to communicate with my office early about plans to apply (email@example.com or 684-4139).
