Funding opportunity for junior faculty (75% effort/50% for surgical specialties) through BIRCWH (K12; Building Interdisciplinary Research Careers in Women’s Health)

The BIRCWH Program provides financial support (up to $125 000/year) advanced training, mentoring, and career guidance for junior faculty leading to an independent interdisciplinary scientific career. BIRCWH research spans sex/gender similarities or differences in biology, health or disease and the entire spectrum of Women’s Health topics. The program is open to all types of disciplines, clinicians and non-clinicians.

Please encourage your faculty to help identify possible applicants. Applicants from underrepresented groups are especially encouraged to apply. Talk to your colleagues about this opportunity. Please distribute and post the flyer.
