This annual symposium is held for the benefit of all members of the UNC, NCCU, and Duke BIRCWH programs – scholars, leaders, and mentors. It is just another way the three universities can share resources to nurture the careers of junior faculty at all institutions while bringing fresh perspectives to the field of women’s health.
The Building Interdisciplinary Careers in Women's Health (BIRCWH) K12 programs are funded by the NIH Office of Research on Women's Health (ORWH).
PI of the Duke/NCCU BIRCWH award: Nancy Andrews, M.D., Ph.D.
