The Duke Center for Child and Adolescent Gender Care is a new clinic at Duke Children’s Health Center providing innovative treatment and care to transgender children and youth and children with disorders of sexual development (DSD).
It opened its doors on in July 2015 and is now serving patients through young adulthood (21 years old). The clinic has a multidisciplinary team consisting of Pediatric Endocrinology, Pediatric Urology, Clinical Social Work, Psychology, and Psychiatry, as well as close collaborations with Neonatology, Genetics, Surgery, Adolescent Medicine and Fertility. Initial visits are currently available every 3rd Wednesday at the Children’s Health Center.
