Duke University School of Medicine proudly presents this year’s Student Faculty Show, Sickened: The Untold Story of Duke Med, inspired by the hit Broadway musical, Wicked.
Entirely directed and produced by Duke University medical students, this full-length musical follows Elphaba and Glinda, two young student doctors, as they fight for their beliefs and their patients after Duke Med falls into some trouble… Don’t miss out on this once in a lifetime performance!
All proceeds from ticket sales and silent auction will benefit BOOST, Building Opportunities and Overtures in Science and Technology), a multidimensional education program founded by the late Dr. Brenda Armstrong. It is designed to excite Durham Public School students— particularly underrepresented minorities, girls and young people from economically challenged backgrounds—about science and inspire them to explore their own passions for STEM.
