About Us
The Faculty Development Program is a hub for faculty development initiatives within the Office of the Dean of the School of Medicine. Housed in the Office of the Associate Vice Dean for Faculty Development, and working in collaboration with the Office of Faculty and Academic Affairs, the program offers services and resources to promote faculty success at all ranks.
Our major initiatives include: grant writing workshops, professional development seminars, leadership development events, technical assistance with grant writing (in partnership with the Office of Research Administration
), and institutional research focusing on equity and diversity. We also work to develop strategies to address the work/life balance needs of faculty.
